Reflection on the Paper Final

To view my final paper, you can click the button labeled Final Paper.  I have learned a lot in this class and my reflection of my writing of the final paper is below.

In regards to pacing myself on the final project, I felt I did pretty good. I did everything that was expected of me each week for the final project, and I completed it on time. Although at times I felt I might fall behind due to me getting sick and burnout. I've been very burnt out working on this project. Doing high school and college at the same time is hard, especially when I was also taking Intro to Chemistry.

For peer review, my partner did an ok job telling me what to improve and what not to do. They didn't really change anything major in peer review. They didn't point out any major mistakes or suggestions for changes. They agreed with my points and stated that I had a good argument. They did an OK job reviewing my work and that was nice.

For the final project as a whole, I feel the position I have taken is valid, and I feel that I have argued it well. If there was anything I could really redo and revise would probably be finding some more quotes and expanding the body paragraphs. I feel like I could have done better finding certain sources for them and finding different people to say what I think.

One interesting thing I learned this semester from this class was how to do a rebuttal. I had no clue how to write a rebuttal or what a rebuttal was before this class. Now I know how to do a rebuttal, how long it should be, and how to make one.  Learning this will be helpful in my future writing.

For AI tools I utilized during the final project I used Perplexity, which is an AI that gives you quotes. I used it to come up with certain quotes to support my paragraphs. I would write the first half of the paragraph, then copy and paste it in the search, and say find a good quote to put in here that supports my point.  It would then find good sources for me to use.  I would put it in there if I agreed with it, or to have it come up with more if I didn't. And then I'd write the second half of the paragraph around that quote. It would all neatly fit together.  I would reread it to make sure it fits and then use it if it did.
